Sounds like a lot of good technical advice. You could do it nuclear grade, four feet thick with 2 1/4 inch re-bar interlaced at 90 and 45 degree angles to each other.

1/2 inch apart for the entire four foot thickness. If I can find a pic of the time we cut a hole in the wall, I'll post if you think I'm kidding.
