Oil on cement - no power brakes or steering

Truck was fine yesterday. Left it sit today and noticed a big puddle under it tonight. Looks like the power steering fluid is overflowing while sitting still The power steering reservoir is full to the top - I DID NOT fill it like this - haven't touched it for 6 months other than to check the fluid.

Started it up and No brakes or steering.

What happened?

I appreciate any advise.

Thanks, Dave Smith

BTW, where in NE Ohio are you? I grew up about 40 miles east of Cleveland.

What's an accumulator? Seems OK today

I'm in Louisville - 2 miles east of Canton.

Started the truck today, revved her up a couple times and I have brakes and power steering again.

Power steering fluid is back down to normal. Went for a ride and everything seems OK. Checked the fluid again when I got home from an 80 mile trip and everything seems to be normal.

Is it going to blow up later?

Can I count on it for a long trip in a couple weeks?
