How much is a quart???
I disagree. After using it quite extensively the last 3 years I love it.
What I hate is using both system's. Having to have 2 set's of tools. I wish we would just change everything and be done with it. 1L is 1 kg. a cubic meter is 1000L which is 1 metric ton. BAR G is even OK when you get used to it. Instead of 8-1/2 x 11 and 8-1/2 x 14 you have A4 paper which is somewhere in between. It is a system that makes sense. If we would just change over cold turkey and teach it in school the next generation would love us for it. It makes everything a lot easier for commerce in a Global economy. It would save us money in the long run.

I would like to agree with your disagreement
I guess everyone else in the world is a commy? Oh well, I have to admit, I used to feel the same way, till I tried it. But now I have seen the light.

Metric is very easy to work with. We have all used money, and it is counted in ones, tens, thousands and so on. So is metric. If you can't work with metric how can you count your money? I find it much easier to count millimeters or centimenters in whole numbers, when adding, subtracting, or dividing. But get Imperial fractions in say a measurment, adding, dividing, multiplying them takes extra work. Dinosaurs could not handle change, I guess they weren't commies. And I have no idea how we got screwed by changing to metric in Canada.
I realize I'm late to the party, but remember google knows all...
Built in conversion feature, just go to google and type what you want to convert from and to. Example: 'quarts to ounces' http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=quarts+to+ounces
or basic math, like '3+2'. Example: '3+2'
