I have found nothing of the sort up here. The closest I have found is down at Peirs and that is a longggggggg drive! How much does a Dyno Machine cost? And what is a better model, I have herd of a couple.

The one that Piers uses is the latest thing for the Diesel boys to use.. It is not cheap but is more repeatable for the high torque applications of the diesel. Its an Aussie company but I can't remember the name.. :-

Most common names are Mustang, Dynojet for the inertia type. The larger scale dynos for heavy equipment are Superflow and I think they are called Dynaflo.. Basically big truck dynos..

The first ones are the cheaper ones. Dunno about the price.

Piers dyno is a Dyno Dynamics.

Dynojet is around 35-50K They have a nice loading feature for load testing now. Not just inertia.

There was sweet deal on e-bay for a complete Dynojet with less than 100 hours on it. It had everything, including the loading feature. It sold for 23K last night. I wanted to push the "Buy Now" buttom more times than you could imagine Too bad I would have had to pay for it afterwards. LOL

What is Commiefornia and other states out West using for their roller emissions testing? I think I heard Mustang mentioned once. Just wondering. And how hard do they load the engine during the test?

I was kinda kickin the idea around, yes, but after seeing what they go for I don't think so. Heck I can drive to peirs and get it done and drive back 60 times for the dough they want to buy one. Man those are spendy.

 

I believe the install would be as bad as the dyno!$$$$
