How many wear their seatbelts?
I always wear it. I saw a lot of reasons why as an EMT from years past. I don't even bring it up around people I know that don't buckle in because I get tired of their reasoning. One gal I know says she's not worried because God is watching over her. Another feels he will have time to duck or grab onto something. Whatever. Fact: You have a much higher chance of survival wearing a seat belt vs. not wearing one. Choose wisely. Kurt
i always wear the seat belt. it doesnt bother me. my buddy def wears his now, after it saved his life. he was out with some older boys from skool and they hit a tree, he was sittin in the middle of the back seat and he said if he didnt have it on he woulda been ejected and probably killed
I would probably not be writing this had I NOT been wearing a seat belt. I have been in 2 accidents in less than 6 mo's and the seat belt was always worn.
1 accident was in my friends car when he got rear-ended. He was stopped for a car turning left when a pizza driver hit him at about 30 mph.
The 2nd accident was head-on with a tree. The tree won that round.

i always wear my seatbelt. i did forget to put it on today though.
didnt realize it until i passed a city cop. truck must sit high enough for him not to notice though, cause i didnt get the lights.
i am also an EMT, while i havent seen it first hand i have seen pictures of what can happen if a seat belt isnt worn. i also knew a few people who are now dead for not having a seat belt on.

i dont usually. unless someone is riding with me they usually make me. i do on the highway, round town no, and on the farm definately not. i usually plug my center seat belt in to my seat belt so no lights are on.
i know i need to, specially since we can get tickets for not.

Never wear mine. I figure it is my head and my windshield and I am old enough to make the decision that I can hit my head on my windshield when I get in a wreck. I also do not wear a helmet on a motorcycle. I love New Hampshire, seat belts and helmets are not required by law. That is the way it should be in the land of the free. Free to make these decisions myself.
i hope you dont have any children and your will is in order. im all about living a wild life, partying and drinking all night long, but im not going to skip on something simple like a seatbelt. its amazing how a small mva cause cause terrible trama to an unrestrained occupant, not to mention a high speed rollover or head on. i have seen people literally walk away and refuse treatment from wrecks they wouldve been killed in if they didnt have a seat belt on.
dont get me started on helmets.
but its your life and good luck. please be safe

Always wear it no matter how short the drive. I flew airplanes before I could drive. Had to buckle up then to stay in the seat. No different on the ground. My first car was a 1959 Olds 88. It didn't come with seatbelts. I installed them - couldn't stand sliding across the old bench seat everytime I turned a corner
I'd say if you hit the ground at any amount of speed in an airplane, i just dont see that belt helping that much. my cousin rolled his dakota, if the seat belt would of been on when the roof crushed he would be dead. PERIOD. setting up right is not the best spot to be in when the truck goes from 5 feet tall to 3 feet tall. sorry, i just feel it falls along the same lines as smoking, drinking and eating greasy food, all are bad for you and may kill you in the end but it is your decision to do it. Greasy food killed my grandfather, smoking killed my aunt and drinking is about to kill my cousin and guess what???? I still do all of them and enjoy it every minute cause its my decision.
