I've been a cadet for the past three years. Will join the department as soon as I turn 18. My dad's the chief up here.

25 year career Lt-FF/medic, now retired. Sorta. Got sick of the politics so took what I could get from my pension plan and ran! Still do administrative Junque for the chief like grant writing etc. Joined a company that does a lot of training for FF's & medics, so that still keeps my fingers in the soup! DO a little fire investigation and started a pretty successful juvenile firesetters intervention program as well.

5 years as volunteer Firefighter/Engineer on Flint Hill Fire Dept, just south of Charlotte, NC. But active duty AF now, so the firefighting will have to wait
