5 years for the navy. I am a diesel mechanic by trade, but have had to fight a few small fires, but one mean fire with a few thousand gallons of diesel, and one mean class charlie in a switchboard that melted 3 1600 amp 3 phase circuit breakers. Also about a million fire drills.

240 FF/EMT going through my medic class right now. Started as a cadet at age 14, couldn't get enough of it, so here i am, associates degree in fire service technology and all kinds of training under my hat.

5yrs career with the rank of Fire Equipment Operator for the Tulsa Fire Dept......Which means I'm a driver just don't know what rank that would be on other departments.

Been with Santa Barbara County Fire for 4 yrs as a Fire Dozer Operator.Started out in 94 as a Hotshot crew member,did that for 3 yrs.Got my Firefighter one certificate in 96 along with my EMT stuff. Seasonal firefighting for a couple more years with the B.L.M. Love wildland firefighting and that is strictly what we do!

NC Certifications:FF II, Rescue Technician with Trench Rescue, Vehicle Machinery Rescue, and Rope Rescue Specialties, Driver Operator Pumps and Aerials, Class A CDLs, Child Safety Seat Technician, EMT-Basic, Farmedic, Emergency Vehicle Driver, Haz-Mat Ops, Emergency Boat Operator, Will be Fire and Rescue Instructor in about 2 months....and I'm only 24 years old. Gonna start working on my associates degree next.
