We've been using automatic rainbird sprinklers to keep the deer out of our garden. When an animal comes in range the sprinkler comes on and 'moistens' it. The noise also is startling for them. I bet these would work on cats for sure

From just reading the thread on some one looking into getting a greyhound dog, try one of them. Sounds like they enjoy chasing after cats. And it's humane.

And might be kinda entertaining sitting on the porch with a watching the chase.

Exclamation Not a cat tale, but it fits !!

Just the other day, I had a gentleman bring a very flat, almost new, tire into the shop.

The aluminum wheel had a tight pattern of dots, right next to the bead, that looked like someone took a punch and peened it a million times.

Just adjacent to the wheel damage was a hole through the sidewall.

As I lifted the tire/wheel from the trunk of a borrowed car, I asked him whose wife's driveway he had been caught in.

He said that he had been having problems with a neighbors dog, caught it into something in his yard, grabbed a shotgun, ran out on the porch, drew a bead on the now running dog, and, in the heat of combat, did not notice that the dog had just ran across in front of his car.

There couldn't have been many pellets hit the dog, as handfuls of them were inside the tire.

A farmer buddy of mine done the same thing to the back tire of his tractor.
