How do you spend your weekends??

Here is a typical weekend day at the Turner house. (posted one of these pictures in Mexstans thread but thought I would share the others).

How do you spend your weekends now that this one is upon us?

Have a good weekend guys!

All different things for me, no set schedule on the weekend. I could go shooting, often I work around the house or under the truck, sometimes I work on projects at the church. I try to take in a dirt track race or a tractor pull now and then, too. The really fun weekends there's a diesel truck event and I go kill KDP's or try to make somebody else's truck faster.

Sleep.

Look at things I need to do.

Sleep sleep and sleep.

Waste time.

Think about how I really need to do the things I need to do.

Sleep.

Waste time.

Procrastinate some more.

Pet cockroaches.

Sleep.

Do an hour of work, be proud of myself.

Waste more time.

Sleep for energy on Monday.

Depends on what part of the year it is for me. During august I work 12-14 hours a day on the weekend. During the summer months I'm on call on the weekends. During the winter months I sit on my butt and watch tv and spend time with my baby. Speaking of which......

I'm spending this weekend working 96 hours straight. Went in friday at 7 am, get off monday morning at 7:30 am. Working for 3 fire departments keeps me busy but I have expensive hobbies. Trying to get my crawler done by summer.

I am usually working on Saturdays, try and take Sunday off to work on things around the house and truck but being self employed you don't always have that option.

Work both days, unless there is something important(AKA future DTR get-together, hunting stuff, truck pulls, etc). But mostly, work, even during summer, winter, whenever. Gotta pay off this truck.

Friday night.... drink beer while my girlfriend complains about being tired.
Saturday night.... drink beer while my girlfriend tells me what I'm doing wrong.
Sunday... be thankful I'm a structural engineer so I can drink beer on weekends.

I used to work for my dad as a carpenter... I'm just glad that my parents encouraged us (2 older sisters, myself and my younger brother) to excel. Working for my dad helped get me my first job after graduation and I have no plans on leaving the company that has allowed me to live the life I live.

My weekends?

I spend my weekends, working to get the things done I didn't get to when I was working during the week.

Is it still Monday?

Go flying if the weather is nice. There is usually a flyin breakfast Sat. mornings somewhere, Sundays work on the plane and hang out at the hanger. Work on the truck, work on honey do's, play with the grandkids if they come over, do chores with the llamas. Spend time with the old big dog, and the new fufu puppy.
