Call them back.
Tell them it's raining, the windows are down, and your blond teenage daughter is trapped inside.

I'm here all week, and apparantly in a mood.

If you are going to bust out a window, the windows in the front doors are cheaper than the quarter windows. The back window is the easiest to fix yourself.

Wedges in the top of the door frame and a properly bent coat hanger will get most vehicles open. Try for the handle if it pulls up, that's easier to grab than the lock. If it has power locks you can often trigger those very easily.

I've never broken into a vehicle....without permission.

Seriosly though.

See if you can find a metal coat hanger, or length of semi stiff wire.

The tops of the doors can be pulled out enough to slip the wire in,
then maybe you can reach the unlock button (if your truck is so equipped)

If this works, you can bend the top of the door back by closing it on a 2x4 around handle high, then pushing gently on the top of the door to bend it back to where it was.

If you use the wedges, youll have to use your man power to torque the door back to avoid airleaks-my mechanicbro taught me that. Its no big deal though. If you had a good ol first gen, you could do I like I did when a friend locked my keys in my apartment and I had to get spare from truck. Just use 2 bent tools to unlatch and open vent window. I also carry a spare in wallet to prevent such occurances.

Wink 2001 or newer DO NOT use the slim jim, sets off airbags

yeah, have a rear slider? two screwdrivers to pry a gap at the plastic square tab locking catch gets it open.

Luckily, when my son did it, I was only about 20 miles from home.

Truck idled with the heater on full blast for 45 minutes waiting for my sister to bring me my spare key from home.

I've since installed the Viper, and hit the turbo timer whenever I need to leave the truck running, with or without a child inside.

Talking out of time I guess...

okay, got a crowbar?

hook the top claw facing inside to pull the right corner out about a half inch.
coat hanger with loop inserted, hook keys, door handle or button lock (they still make those?) can't remmeber the door handles as being able to grab and pull up just for that reason.....take a shot at hooking the key ring. If I leave now I probably will beat your sheriff's dept. (liability is a big issue nowadays)
90 bucks for a locksmith to get it tomorrow..
take care, hope all goes well!
