I think A&M beet Baylor 73 to 10 today.... I cant remember exactly... but it was pretty bad.

 

Saturday was a good day for sure. t.u. lost, and my Red Raiders won again big. (ags won too, but that's ok)

 

I would think that for it to be considered a WIN, that you would have to be playing a REAL team . That match up was kind of like cracking pecans with a sherman tank and then wondering why there's nothing left to make a pie out of :'( :'( :'(

We're gettin' there. New coaches....new system....15 starters that are either freshman or sophomores....just give them time. This year won't be their year....but we're gettin' there.

I'm anxious to see how Tech does when they take their show on the road this coming weekend against OSU. That should be a good test for them.

Hey...a win is a win is a win. To be honest, after Baylor whipped Colorado the week before I was a bit nervous going into the game Saturday. When it was 38-10 at the half I felt better....when it was 73-10 at the end I felt better still...and that was with us playing people I'd never heard of all through the 4th quarter.

I at least hope they'll put up a better fight than t.u. did. I was almost embarassed to be from Texas after watching that game. Even if we did win, we'd probably be ranked 20 or so. We get no respect in Lubbock. (over 1600 yards offense in 2 games)

I think y'all will take OSU. It should be a good game though. A&M doesn't get much respect either....but right now they don't deserve to be ranked so I'm not complaining too much. Texas is the one that always gets the ranking....although in my opinion they're overrated every year. Ever notice how they almost always start off in the top 10 and then drop through the season?? Every year they say this is the year for their national championship. I think they should focus on winning a conference championship first because they've only done that once since joining the Big 12 (or have they even done it once??). I don't think they've won a national championship since 1946 or something like that. Texas fans need to wake up and realize that they're not as good as they think they are. They spank teams like Tulane and New Mexico State....but when a real team like Arkansas or OU steps up and slaps them across the face they lay down and cry. :
