Texas Longhorns -V- Nebraska Cornhuskers

Both programs have over 800 wins, and are playing on national TV this Sat. This is gonna be a dogfight. Nebraska is ready to take on the Defending National camps. Lots of repsect for both programs

Is NU ready to take back it's place at the top?

Is UT ready to defend it's National Title?

Let the smack talking begin.

I haven't really followed the sports at all the last couple of years. It's about time though that Nebraska had a decent team again. They really haven't been talked good about since Osborne retired & Tommy Frasier finished school.

You gotta watch Zack Taylor. This guy is a general out on the field. Last week our defense held K State to a -16 yards rushing. The Huskers are back baby.

Where are them longhorns at?

After Vince Young left, I don't think many thought Texas would have a very good team. McCoy has surprised a lot of people and seems to improve each game.

Speaking of Young...the Cowboys sure did give him a good spanking on his NFL debut. He found out real quick the NFL defenses are faster and hit a LOT harder then the college boys.

Both Texas & NU reload each year. Now that NU has a coach we can settle down to learn the new offense.

I am a husker fan BUT I wouldn't say their back just yet! They still need to prove themselves against some top ranked teams. They played USC very close but couldn't get it done. We shall see if they have what it takes.

Let's see if the Husker coaches will let it all out instead of playing not to lose too bad. USC was a recruiting trip not a football game.

I would agree that McCoy has done a lot better than I expected.

Time will tell.

This is true...although when Texas and Texas Tech play it's pretty much a toss up for me. I don't like either one of them. If there was a way for both of them to lose I'd be happy.

Woo Woo! Woo Woo! I like playin' the Ags anytime. They have the 'classiest' fans overall of any Big XII teams that we play. They are always pleasant and fun to hang with win or lose. I don't mind losing to the "J-Train" if we have to lose to any TX team.

I smell a Hyjack! Sorry. What were we talking about, o, ya, How 'bout the Cornsuckers?
