Hood Ram

What year truck is this hood ram off of? At first I didn't like it.. but it has grown on me. Some people like it, some don't. It was on the truck when I bought it. It might be aftermarket. I've been asked and couldn't answer the question. Thanks

80's early 90's LE trucks, never factory on 91-93 trucks (1st gen body style)

That one has a custom mount, maybe made for a 2nd gen.

Usually its just a little flat pedestal, that one has a big block that raises it up level.

i love it .

I had a Mack bulldog on an old Jeep that I had hooked up an old windshield washer pump and reservoir. I drilled a small hole between the dogs hind legs and inserted the tiny tube the water would shoot out of.

Then I would have a ball at places like 7/11 when a guy walked past the hood I would hit the button and the dog would pee on him I can't recall anyone not getting a kick out of it, naturally I used good clean water as it was meant to be a friendly happy joke

I know it has nothing to do wit your Ram, seeing it reminded me of the fun I had with that bulldog though.......

My friends think I should drill the eyes out and put in some L.E.D. lights. I'm thinking about it.

My concern with that is the holes through the hood. The hood got butchered up when the ram got installed. Looks really bad under the hood.

And some cop in a bad mood will give you a ticket for having red lights in the front of your truck. I've seen it happen before......

I have one in the box in my shop, friend picked it up at a flea market, the base wont fix on my 3rd gen, may have to mill it flat for the hood.
