The hitch hiking squirrel...

On my way home from school yesterday ( 3 hour drive) i was following a chevy half ton down the highway , minding the speed limit , and a large gray squirrel ran up out of the ditch and onto the road. Once it was on the road , it STOPPED in the middle of the lane infront of the chevy truck, as the truck rolled over the squirrel , the squirrel JUMPED up under the truck somewhere , and it never came back down , i followed that truck for another hour after that, just to see if the darned animal would fall back off of the truck, and it never did. I had two other people in my truck with me to verify that i am not insane (or at least not hallucinating...) This has to be the most hilarious thing i have ever seen, somewhere out there , is a chevy owner , that now has a pet squirrel...

It was a Chevy right? It was just a change of power plants. They called in a new fresh squirrel to run in the squirrel cage.

The squirrel just got mixed up and thought it was like a nut instead of like a rock and since 97% of the Chevy's are still on the road and the rest made it home it was playing the odds and waiting for it to stop rolling to shove it in a hole somewere for winter .

I didn't see any squirrels; but, I did see a funny sight travelling North I-75, today.

I got behind a SUV with a family full of youngens along.

In the back, just against the back door, was a huge stuffed tiger, with about a four foot tail.

In haste, trying to shut the back door without any kids escaping, someone had closed the door down on most of the tiger's tail.

The tiger tail was flowing in the breeze, behind the SUV, making it look like the SUV had a tail.

If it hit the drive shaft or u-joints, maybe there wasn't enough left to fall out.
