that looks like a good time right there! Truck looks sharp, good to see you're putting it to work too.

Thanks! Yeah we had a great time....love to see some pics of your dually/flatbed. I wanna lift mine like yours but hoistin' those logs up any higher, I dunno, I might get myself in trouble.....the flatbed sits pretty high already.

haha that is the one downfall to a flatbed. On the other hand, it can come in handy being up so high. Helped a friend move the other day and we had to take some stuff out the second story windows. Just stood on the bed and handed it right down

great looking truck. One day mine will have flat bed on it.

How do you get the logs on the truck?

I don't consider my truck an off-roader, but last week I had to get up and down a steep "driveway" down to a lake which was really more like a cleared trail in the woods

I just put it in 1st gear and let the engine do the braking on the way down

on the way up I put it in 1st and engaged the front hubs and it just pulled itself up that mess without altering revs

love these trucks; I gave an off-road logging truck a couple of short blasts from my air horn and he saluted

Thanks man, you won't regret it(the flatbed)! I just heave em up, my dad's usually with me so that always helps....dead lodge poles are usually not to heavy so, it can be done by your lonesome....we just cut em in 8 foot sections, take em home and cut them there in the woodpile....trucks, mountains, chainsaws, always a great time!

Yeah, mine's an auto and she still does alright....in the hills, on these old jeep roads/logging roads, I tend to keep the truck in low, cause there's always something you'll run into....hope to put a locker in soon. But man, they work awesome and have great clearance, even just stock!

More camping and summer fun....

Went to the City of Rocks in Eastern Idaho this weekend....what a strange, amazing place. The rocks are awesome there, and was a great time. Set my tent up on the flatbed, worked great, nice and solid...and flat....I recommend going there if your in the area. My buddy has a Sprinter van all set up for camping too, pretty cool vans....Happy trails.....
