ok, a little background, i'm a college student. i mind my own business on campus and keep the truck turned down when driving around, 20mph speed limit, crosswalks, etc. still an 8000lb diesel truck is not the normative college vehicle, but hey. so i am walking to my truck after class and a hippie girl walks up to me and calls me out.

hippie: i would hate to know what kind of gas mileage that gets!
me: (caught off guard) it... doesn't run... on gas.

she just stood there. look on her face was classic. i am sure she never got it.

I tell 'em mine loves gas. I buy it the good stuff and lot's of it. They normally don't know how to respond to a positive sounding comeback when they've solicited a negative response.

the sad part is that i've actually been to hippie music festivals. the music is great, i just hate everyone there except those on stage.

HA thats great. i hate dirt y hippies. was she a dirty hippie? I am with hovisimo i went to bonaroo. i like some jam bands. Hell i have even been called a hippie. i just consider myself balanced to both sides! (mmm dont let that make you think i like hippies though...)
