Hey all.

I was referred here by one of your members. I don't own a Cummins Dodge but I have 2 years experience piloting N14 powered Kenworths and I must say Cummins builds the best diesel engines on the road.

I do own a diesel though, a little VW Jetta TDI. Different breeds but burn the same oil.

Which one? The 410, 435 or 460 hp version?

We had all three. The Kenworth T600 single bunks had 410 hp N14's. The double bunk Kenworth T600's and T2000's had 435 hp N14's. There were a few T600's that were accidentally delivered with 460 hp N14's . Those trucks got fought over!

When the trucks were off their lease or made part of the company lease/purchase program they had the engines reprogrammed to 460 hp anyways. The wonders of electronic controls.

If 460 is the max...then 460 it is.
Just for awhile for a science project.
Can you crate it up and ship it please?

Welcome, PackRatTDI! I'm sure that you will like it here. If you listen to us too long, you might just end up with an ISB in your stable.

Don't let Scotty have that N14. With the trouble he's having right now, he'll have it stuffed under the hood of that new truck.

Welcome to this site. As others have already warned you, under no circumstances loan Scotty that N14. He will probably switch engines and hope that you don't notice.
