Then I read on down further. I still don't understand how people making the choice to live below sea level, and not leaving when a Cat 5 hurricane is headed your way, is The Prez's fault. It is Ocean warming, a definete cyclic event. I will listen to the scientific views of the Hurricane experts when it comes to weather, before I listen to Barbara Streisand.

They say that the ice caps on the north and south pole are melting. Whos to say that the world is just going back to normal from the ice age?

BINGO! You win! You got it right!

Just because we woke up and started keeping records we think the records are the norm? How arrogant can we get? Then to blame the NATURALLY OCCURING climate change on man's behavior based on the last 50 years? ARRRRGGGGG! It makes my head hurt to think people are sooooo STUPID AND GULLIBLE!

It's all about us right? We are the ones in control of it all right? LOL

Mother Nature answers to no man, be it the President of the USA or the mayor of New Orleans

Cycles occur in nature all of the time - remember the hole in the ozone layer? Not heard about it recently, you say? Imagine that.

Technology gets better so the readings get more precise but they do not have a historical reference to go by so any changes are "man-made" since we can now quantify them. Yeah, right.

The Gulf Stream has reversed current several times, but the next time it happens will be blamed on Global Warming. Like we actually can control this cycle of natural phenomenon anymore than I can control my sister-in-law's spending habits.

Just another reason for the all-too-often liberal media to make up a story to frighten the uninformed masses who believe everything they see on TV. Too bad rational thinking for yourself and common sense are no longer a virtue.

I agree completely with geico and blackdiesel. I suppose it will be global cooling, caused by humans of course, when we are heading back into an ice age...

Back to Wilma preperations.... Flew to Ft Myers on Wednesday night to get my 89 year old grandma and we left thursday morning to drive back to Ohio... Just got here about an hour ago.... Spent 3 hours outside of Tampa and moved 10 miles..... I hate hurricane evacuation traffic...

Glad to not be there for whatever may come that way.... Think maybe I saw Bob on the way ... Plenty of people towing 5ers with Dodge trucks.... Interestingly enough, there were a lot more 4 door fords towing 5ers than Dodges.... Just an observation from sharing the road with 9234538947534 people pulling travel trailers, some of which had no business pulling a trailer

GladToBeBackInOhioTrey
