i got some used HID lights,

just got the ballast, 2 wires, and bulbs for each side.

the lead for power has 2 small (bayonet) male terminals (size of toothpick for both ground and hot)

the other wire goes to lite bulb base from the ballast.

how are you guys hooking the bayonet terminals up to the OEM plug?

how should i clean the bulbs? i was reckon'n to use rubbing alcohol and cotton ball, and clean bulbs thoroughly, let dry.

how/where are you mounting the ballast? these came off an 04, but have velcro on the back. is that for vibration isolation, or mounting?

i'm a big Tie Wrap fan.

shouuld i wrap the ballast in ____ (fill in the blank) or will that affect heat dissipation?

What's the ballast for? The lights filled with helium or something?
