How to fix Cab leak from prior clearance lights

How does one fix a Cab leak due to the previous owner just applying bondo over old clearance light holes?

I would use some two part epoxy sealing paint over it.
No matter what you do short of putting the lights back on will require some new black paint.

go to your local boat sales repair facility and get their white sealant, you won't believe how good that stuff works.

I would either weld it up and repaint.....or replace the clearance lights.

Probably not what you wanted to hear....

I was just scared hearing about possably warping the top cab metal if I weld it. But couldnt one just yank the headliner, have someone hold a thin piece of metal stock from the inside and slowly fill the holes with a small wire feed and not get the thing to hot?

Yep, it will warp... Id use a little Fiberglass cloth and put about two layers on it being sure to leave the edges a good 2 inches larger than the hole. Let it set up good then sand it down smooth. Maybe use a skim coat of glazing Bondo if needed to really smooth thing out, prime, and paint. You can let the first layer kinda sink into the hole a bit and harden up then with the second layer fill the hole in flush and lay the second layer over that. That will insure no leakage when you sand it back down smooth.

Have the roof sprayed with truck box bed liner just spray right over what you have, if you get them to use the very fine stuff it won't look all bumpy.

You could weld it up, being real careful and have air hose to cool off weld as you go. You would have to put small tacks as not to put too much heat on it.

You could weld it. Stitch weld them- one or two spot welds, next hole, keep going like that. Let it cool between spot welds. Use a MIG. You could try to back it up with some copper plate, but I doubt a stick welder would do it.
