Lubbock??? I was there many years ago. Was told by some Texans that it is the extreme rear end of a certain animal. Wonder if it still has this reputation?

Sometimes it smells like the rear end of an animal if the wind is blowing from the East over the stockyard. Other than that, it's the only thing worth seeing in West Texas. Lived there for 4.5 years and enjoyed it, from what I can remember.

 

Momma grew up in Buick/Electra and Wichita Falls. Papa moved Mama to the Henderson/ Longview area and Have been there ever since. My Dad moved Mom up to Dallas where her brother Jerry lives and I of course am stationed down here in the Corpus Christi area. Have friends in Geronimo and San Antonio. My wifes kin are all from Liberty. Reason for so much detail is simple. We all think Aggies should find a new home. West Texas and North West Texas are not for me. I love the rolling hills and the green pines areas the most. DOn't mind the flat lands but if a tumble weed roles by I'm out of there. Odessa and Wink are prime exanples. Lubbuck on the other hand is in its on category, enough said. HOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT!
