hauling cow chips

the old garden needed a good dose of cow manure so went over to a buddies place and he loaded me up with a good 3+ ton of premium poo. i hauled it home with my side racks on then pulled them off to shove it off the deck. worked so good going for another load . nothing like some well aged product to clean out the sinuses.

It's only the first 3 tons that smells bad. After that, it's hardly even noticeable.

Those boots are going to get real lonely sitting all by themselves on the back porch.

Being raised on a dairy farm you get used to the smell real quick. When I would complain to dad, he would say "Son, thats the smell of money."

I did the same thing two seasons ago but it's very dry out here in SoCal. The product, therefore, is very dry and dusty. I'm still getting brown snot when I blow my nose.

BTW, the canteloupes and corn loved it. The beets did not; they developed smallish hairy roots that branched, but had HUGE tops.
