Had to pull the Comp off

I had to pull my Comp off cause my trans won't shift under full throttle with it turned OFF. It really sucks. Funny thing is that I only have 15 lbs of boost at WOT and my EGT's are pretty high (1200 on a 60* day on flat ground at WOT). It pulls pretty good for a stock truck. Plus the transmission isn't slipping or anything. Oh well.

Re:Had to pull the Comp off

Sounds like you have a MAP sensor problem. Have it checked and replace it if necessary. Your Cummins tech should be able to hook up his handheld diagnostic tool and check the voltage. They have been known to go bad when using a Comp due to the high voltage. I have had the same problem in the past. Good luck ........................... LE

I have digital gauges so that may be the problem. I'm gonna send all the senders back (except EGT) nad let Dakota Digital see if they are reading right.

I don't know. I'm pretty sure my boost gauge is fine. My FP is the only I've had trouble with.
