Ha Ha woops...
The front shocks look almost as if they sheared the bolts off. If the welds failed I would think the bolts and mounting tabs would still be in those ears hanging by the right front tire. I bet the dudes put grade 5 in instead of grade 8 on accident. Just a thought. Someone is still fired!!!!!

hahahahaha! i saw this truck a while back in a magazine and also in a video the guys were talking about an "off-road monster" thats some funny stuff. I agree fire the welder and the person that thought it was going to make that jump flawlessly, hes lucky the thing didnt rollover.

Looks like bolts were too small. Could probably use more limiters if he's not gonna put enuff supension under it to be jumping and bottom out.

Perhaps it is a safety feature to keep the umm more challanged from driving too far.
Those shock mounts should be designed to put the bolts in double shear. If you look at the undamaged side of the truck in the video, you will notice they are not. The shock mount simply lays against the axle with a bolt through the mount into the axle & no outside tab to sandwich it.

That truck was an accident waiting to happen.
