gum on the carpet!!
some how somebody got into my truck and must have had gum on their shoes and now i have a nice glob of it smeared into my carpet has anyone had gum on thier carpet befor or know how to get it out if anyone can help i appreciate it thanks guys.
Janitorial supplies usually have gum remover which is a can of freon with a spray nozzle. You just freeze the gum and then quickly chip it out with a putty knife or impact chisel.

You can do the same thing with ice cubes. Do not use WD 40 on carpet - - you will separate the carpet from the backing. Not good. Big bubble.

peanut butter works for gum in hair,
ronsonol works on gum on tiles, but I dont know what it will do to carpet.
