Hey Kid,
You might try to call David Klose of Klose Fabricators on West 43rd. That guy does nothing but build A-1 quality BBQ pits and cookers of different varieties (or your design). He is not cheap, but then again he is not as high as other fabricators either. I use him for parts when I build my own BBQ pits (I now own a 16 ft trailer mounted pit with kitchen sink, prep table and integral firebox water heater). There is another fabrication shop up in Tomball, but their name eludes me at this moment.
Good luck and happy turkey day!!

Re:grill
After closer look, go to Navasota to Trinity Industries Tank Division and purchase a tank head that doesn't pass their QC tests and make your own. I had a friend that used to work there and they sold 2nds all of the time to guys for manufacturing "Texas fajita woks". They cook GREAT, or you can fabricate a smaller version out of farming discs mounted on 1" all thread so you can adjust the heat for what you are cooking.

I think I need to build one that is HUGE and transportable and start cookin' for crowds at the strongman comps.
;D

But it takes a fork lift to turn 'em over.
