Quote from Mexstan...."The winters in Spokane are nothing"

Nothing?

How this.......

1. Last week......65 mph windstorms......
2. This morning.....-15 wind-chill....right now it warmed up to 5 degrees......woo hoo! :'(
3. Starting the truck this morning......3 cycles on the grid heater....power steering whining like you would not believe....."white smoke" at 1500 rpm........
4. ALL the roads are "pack-ice"........
5. Washed the CTD just now (to remove the de-icer) and have ice icicles like a winter wonderland........
6. Took 25 minutes of driving to warm up enough to not see ones breath INSIDE WITH THE WINDOWS UP........ :-[
7. Had 14" of snow the other night....gonna snow for the next 10 days......…

HOW MUCH WORSE CAN IT GET !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ???

The coolest thing (for a south Texas boy) is watching people going into a skid 30 feet in front of a stop light
….yappin’ on the cell……one by one…….
MAMMA I WANNA COME HOME……GIMME THA’ BAYOU AND HURRICANE PARTIES!

Re:Quote from Mexstan...."The winters in Spokane are nothing"

OK, just got home from 8000 feet and find that I am being picked on. Spent all day outside in weather that would be hard to improve on. Down to an altitude of 6000 feet now.
Now why would I want to defend myself. So you wimps in Spokane are getting a small taste of winter. Will it stay like that for a few months - and worse? Granted, what you have now is not that nice, and yes, it can get a LOT worse. Just ask some of the Canuk DTR'ers. Or somebody from Alaska.
So do us all a favor and keep whining. It may be interesting to see who chimes in with some REAL winter stories.
BTW, I don't drink that stuff. worm or no worm!

Re:Quote from Mexstan...."The winters in Spokane are nothing"

Wait!

You mean you can wash your vehicle in November in Spokane? Geez, that sounds like mid-May at the earliest in Alaska....November in Alaska means you don't even think about washing your vehicle outside or it starts to resemble a soapy popscicle before you ever get to the first rinse.

Spokane in the winter, balmy place, just plain balmy!!

I've been to Calgary a couple of times in January and it was very bone chilling...I was there for sun bathing training and they took us all to Spokane for the practical exam!!! Balmy I tell ya, just plain balmy!!
