Green paintball.....white truck

At least we think it was a paintball. Someone shot my wife's Tundra while it was at work the other day. It was green and waxy. By the time we noticed it, a dust storm had blown through and it was coated with red dust. We got most of it cleaned off, but if you know where to look, you can still see a very slight green tinge.

I don't know anything about paintballs. Does this sound like what it was? Any ideas how to clean the rest of the green stuff off the truck?

Thanks......Steve

Most paint ***** are water based, but I picked up some white ones that were not and they stained my buddys black Ford. He leaned aginst it where I had shot him and it did stain, however, after a couple of weeks and a few rainy days it was all gone.

I bet if you give it a few days it will dissappear.

Paintballers go for the ones that make the best mark and the non water based seems to do the trick.

Either that, or someone has a serious sinus infection.

I would hate to see the size of that bird

Good luck with the stain, hope it comes out for you.

Try washing the area with water and dish washing detergent. About two table spoons in a bucket of water should do it.

Thanks for the info. It doesn't look bad now. You have to know where it is to see it. I will try some of your remedies this weekend.

Thanks again.

(Would like to find the little $&!@ that did it and make them and their parents hand wash and wax the whole truck?)

Yeah, and just as a reminder, after using the dish soap, re-wax that spot. I am sure you know that the dish soap will remove the wax

Look down the side of your truck to make sure the paintball didn't leave any dimple dents in the body. Some little punk nailed my buddies eclipse all down the side of it, and when you looked down the side you could see a bunch of little dimple dents from where they hit!!

Thanks guys. I am not worried about dimples. The actual impact was on the side window of the driver's rear door. It hit at a pretty good angle...not square on. After it hit, it splattered back to the door molding around the window.
Thanks again.....Steve

Just be glad the paintballs were not frozen as they were when my daughters civic got nailed by some punks on senoir day at high school The car now has 3 dents about the size of a quarter in dia.I'd like to nail them in the gonads with a paint ball gun. In the last couple of years it has really gotten out of hand here.
