Got Smoke?

Am a bit reluctant to start a new post, so I thought I would try to dovetail from a somewhat related thread.
I have never really jumped on the go pedal. Last night, I was entering a freeway onramp with a decent incline. I was trying to get out of the way of an annoying kid in a hopped up "street racer", so I got on it a bit.
To date I have never seen, or smelled, smoke from my exhaust. However, in the dark, with the headlights behind me, I saw some smoke. I could not tell the color and nothing was running out of the ordinary.
Should I worry? I have about 5700 miles now. Have not seen this before, although I have a hunch that the amount of smoke I saw would not have been visible in daylight.

I thought the same thing the first time I did it.
At night, freeway onramp, lights from the person I "smoked" illuminating it.
Was kind of a light haze.
Asked the guy the next day (co worker), what it smelled like, as I was sure I'd blown a gasket and was burning oil or coolant.
Only done it a couple times since, and I was trying to pass someone each time.
Saw it once during the day.
Can't wait till I can make some afternoon sun darkening black smoke. ;D

Before I slid my plate, I had the cruise on one time when I first got my truck. I was pulling up this short steep hill when the tranny didn't shift, the cruise hammered down anyway and a real nice black swarm appeared in my rear-view. Now, that I have the 'ol plate slid, I have to be careful not to smoke out people unintentionaly ;D

Thanx.
Last I tallied, it was around $8,000.
In order:
Drop in bed liner, Wind Visors, Bug shield, nerf bars, CB & antennas, wheels, tires, lift (2 inch spacer), lift (5inch), bumper, flares, truespeed, BHAF and bumper.
The only thing I did myself was the nerf bars, CB/antennas, bumper and BHAF install.
I paid for the lift(s) and fender flare install.
I'm sure I could have done the flares, but I just had them done the same time the lift was being put on, truespeed too.
Paid for the mufflerectomy as I don't have the tools.
I'll most likely pay for the guages install as well.
Oh, I bought some OEM mudflaps and installed them myself, but they came off about 5 months later when the fronts were shredded by my bigger tires and the rears couldn't mount with the flares.
