Ive got a redneck flatscreen too..... $4 piece of drywall from Lowes and a video projector.... works nicely...

Making a frame around the tv is one thing .... poking it out the side of your living room for all to see is straight up INGENIOUS !!!!!

I told the wife that I wanted to mount our tv on the ceiling above our bed ... she didn't like the idea of a 54" falling on her in the middle of the night .
