the welder at work whipped it up for me ......he does a nice job IMO ..........now I got to paint it

I was thinking of getting one of those herculiner paint in bedliner kits to paint it

Nice looking bumper, dodgeram. Give us some vital statistics; material, weight, etc. Looks like all of the seams are filled too...unlike my 1 year old Reunel which is weeping rust thru the open seams. >

 

doesn't really matter about the plate number .........hoss' guess was wrong and nobody's gonna come way up here to get my truck anyways even if he was right

started out as a 1/4" walled 6"x8" peice of square tubing he cut out the center and end curves and filled them and the ends with 1/8" plate (it was eiseir to shape) and sanded all the welds down

he put a couple pieces of 1/4 plate along the walls of the center notch to make sure it was strong there as some of the tubing was cut out

only took him a few hours ofter work on friday ......... cost me 175 dollars for a 14ft chunk of the tubing(I got 8 feet left) and a case of beer for him to do it

now to make plans for the front bumper ...............

yep .........the new stickers are in my wallet, I got to put em on tonight then I'm good till july 04

 

It'll look really good with the bedliner on it.
