Got Hit today:
On my way to school today I noticed the roads were pretty slick from the rain (and the fact my tires are bald). So I was taking it easy watchingout for the other idiots out there. I was about a block from school when I had to stop for a metro bus. The power stroke that was riding my a#& cut around me and unfortunatelly the toyota behind him didn't. I saw what was happening in the rearview and stomped the brake pedal. He was probably goin about 25 when he hit me and I didn't budge. Take a look at his damages and then look at mine. Looks like he shoulda bought a dodge.

Re:Got Hit today:
My advice to big city rammers leave your drop hitch in. Put the hitch plug in at the shows but on the road it is your first line of defense. It's gonna cost him a new radiator but My reese hich only got a scratch

Glad it went your way oldred, I had a guy in a fairly new Honda car run under me about a year or so ago, his hood was pushed back he couldn't open his door a real mess. He scratched the paint on my hitch and that was it, can you believe it?

"Twiggy" didn't fair so well. Thanks for the hint about putting the drop hitch in. I'll dig mine out this weekend. Just hope to remember it's there and not bang my shins.

~Dave

Glad to hear your ok and looks like your truck made it through ok as well.

Although, as Javaluva and a few others can backup, you may "feel" ok now, but still may be a little sore tomorrow.

Hope everything turns out ok with the insurance companies.

Good luck and be safe.

Rich

I rear ended some lady in my dad's vette at about 35mph on November 1. We got a letter in the mail last Fri. saying she was filing medical claims on us. I think it's bull and they want moeny but who knows. It was a Pontiac Sunfire. All I can say is that if you aren't hurt, don't ask for medical money. I think that's all these ladies are asking for cause it took them over a month to finally file for it.

Glad your ok dude.

State Tech Community College on White Bridge Road and the drivers are terrible on I-65, Brily Pkwy, and White Bridge Road. They just don't pay attention to a 7/8,000lbs truck for some reason ??? :
