Hey guys....Been fighting for the last several months, with slow website loading and surfing...Decided to upgrade to Google Chrome...What a big difference...Sure is faster now...

Was using Explorer 8 before the upgrade..

That's good to hear. I've been curious about it, just had never heard feedback from anyone on it. Thanks DD.

I've used Firefox for several years now and love it. Anything IE is horrible IMO
I know a few others using Chrome and also happy. I've only tried it once and went back to my FF

I've tried Chrome before and it worked pretty good. I prefer the FEEL of Firefox though.

Can't stand IE.....

If you like Fire Fox, try 'Pale Moon'. Pale Moon is a custom-built and optimized Firefox-based browser for Windows.

Here's their FB page if you wanna know more; https://www.facebook.com/PaleMoonBrowser?ref=stream

I use Chromium which is the non branded, open source version of Google Chrome. It works great.

I almost called Telus...To ask them if they reduce my bandwidth...But here it was on my end...

If you upgrade to Chrome...It will take a short time to get use to...The tabs on top work great...No more "not responding" errors..

Make sure you right down your user id and passwords for sites you login into (DTR,online banking,etc)...You will have to re-enter these passwords if you have a automatic save of user id and passwords...Chrome will also ask if you want to transfer your bookmarks..So nothing really gets lost...

I use Firefox, my yahoo email actually works with Firefox!
With IE it was always having problems.
I quit using google for search , I got tired of searching for something,,,
like new work boots and for 2 weeks after that seeing ads for work boots
on a lot of different web pages, didn't like being tracked like that.
I use duckduckgo.com for searches, all private, they don't track or keep track of anything, silly name but it works good.

Good advice. I like to read the Calgary Herald daily on their website and find it's brutally slow on my tired old computer with IE. Lots of ads to load on each page. Chrome or FF would probably speed it up a lot.

I can only hope that my 1 true, best friend will come to my house and delete my history if something ever happens to me...
