Good place to host a website?

I have just been nominated as the webmaster for my son's boy scout troop. The host they are currently using charges $99 a year to host it.

I have only used the free web hosting that Comcast provides with service but I thought that $99 is high. Since the service expired in March I am looking around.
Any recommendations?

I use this for certain things on this website, and it works really well. Plus, it's free...

Here's a host that I use, I really like them, cheap and good service.

Its a little-known host so you really get to know the people that run it and service really comes fast when you get to know the people on the other end.

This is also another little known host: http://www.icdsoft.com

I pay $6/month for a lot more storage and traffic than I ever use, and basically unlimited email. It has an easy control panel, and the customer service has always been fast to respond and very helpful and courteous.

I use http://www.godaddy.com for my domain registration and hosting, if you google, you can find 15-20% off coupon codes easily.
