A Host Of Questions???

I Have A Few Questions For All You Haulers
--can i pull my trailer at @ 12000lbs in O/D off for 1600km(@1000miles)or do i have to drive the rig O/D in and out as needed?
--next one is about a elec. over hydral. actuator?not planning on installing a break away kit can i just wire the dexter actuator right to the breaks and break control in the cab?

You don't have to use OD ever if you don't want to. In fact 3rd gear is direct through the tranny and when locked up is the most efficient gear. It will help keep the revs up a bit too, which will help with the EGT.

do you have to keep the speed down around 90-100km/hr(somewhere around 60mph)or just the rpm down around 2200/
