Another Mexstan fan right here. I like his posts. Usually gets you to thinking. I think the political stuff is fun. Just keep it civil. I reckon that is why it is in the other forum. Maybe we need a definition of "other"

My only problem with limiting the political threads is that unless your gonna shut down every thread that gets carried over, eg. the stupid airplane thread...I sware every thread i read, that gets put into....Other sites have a seperate members only politics form, and personally i think we could use one...If you wanna tlk politics in that thread send a PM to an admin so they know who should be tlking there....

I have no problem whatsoever with any of the gun, wives, pointless, and frankly stupid threads, cuz this being an awsome site, no one whats to go and post thoes threads anywhere else...

PJ and I fight all the time and we live 15 minutes from each other, but its kool, cuz come spring fling(you better be there PJ) we'll be good friends... I being 14 and bashed on seveal times a day, and i've come to grow used to that because I tend to bash others in the politics threads

We are all grown-ups, we all have our own veiws, and I certainly think we SHOULD all be mature enough to discuss things without acting like 5th graders on a playground.

Thanks guys for the support. I do try and post things that will get you thinking but do NOT want the job of Prez - of anything, particularly a country. Well, on second thoughts, what is the pay and perks? (and keep Monica out of this)

All kidding aside. I do enjoy reading the political stuff even Herbs thoughts. When it comes down to it. It is Jack and Lary's site and I will follow the rules they make. This site is my favorite for sure.

I hope we can all continue to have the freedom to converse in the subjects we each consider important, and in return we will all agree to police ourselves, and act like reasonable human beings. That way everybody wins.

Kind of ironic how it looks like a "I'm tired of the politics" thread is going to run 6 pages and have members going back and forth............(very similar to a political thread)

he's been up for a couple hours. Just checked the new post page. As usual, the post with the most hits is this one (a political one) ???????????????
if so many folks don't like them it must be the visitation counter is defective ?

I'll bet if the home team were getting paid by the number of clicks each thread received this discustion would not have been initiated by them ??
