I just built one to go in place of the bucket on my backhoe so I can sit in a warm cab with music and a beverage while I split.

I don't drink anything I can't pronounce! 'Shiner Hefeweizen' sounds like a cow with a black eye and an asthmatic condition!

Hey Scott - - no else out of bed this morning except you and me? Hmmm, checking clock - - looking outside - - yep, it's daylight and clock says it was time. Oh well, let 'em sleep while I get all the ph00 - - yeh.

Nice rainy morning here - - still behind for the year. Lots of wells were going dry. Thankfully mine was not one of them. Just can't keep up with the plants even with the help of the lawn man. Sure pretty though.

OK, off to my chores and taking care of DW - - she is hurting soooo bad. Poor thing - - hate it and nothing I can do to help it except keep her off her feet and bring the meds. Hate it. Don't like seeing her hurt like that.

Thats funny!

Gonna mow today, for the first time in three weeks. Its been so dry here that the grass didn't grow. Now that we had a big storm and it cooled off the grass grew alot.

 

left Sam Adams summer wheat for bud lime. wanted to try something different since I had a lemon beer from Reno airport.........oh man that was good for people (LIKE ME) who don't like a beer tasting beer. grew up in my dad's bar washing things...then worked at Jack Daniel's distillery. great way to not drink alcohol...


we built our own splitter and a log grapple that we use from our tractor. getting too old to lift up the 30 inch cut offs....have logs stacked this year to dry out- makes splitting easier. have a eight cord reserve from last year, nice to have that!we will split in october and february- same reason- good for the body, clears the mind.

lunch is done, time to face my problem with the lil diesel mercedes- blew out something and have no oil left (scott). I am so hoping it is a line blow out and nothing worse.

Fiver- yes, DW in the pool moving and simple therapy! hopefully the weathr cooperates. JBARK, more money is more money. they picked, not you. go be successful now! FRONTY! take another walk with your wife- ease those bad days....CIN- how long did the relaxing last?! how's the family?!

where's my fishin' guru? REDLEG. sunny here but 62, good day to hit the back country for a hike. have a waterfall the other side of my property that we have been meaning to get to......maybe after i fix the car......and get diesel grease off.....look like tar baby.

NW Houston, 85*F with a few clouds. Just the morning check in. Already been out and about. Took kidlett to cheerleader camp. Rah rah rah, shisss boom baha.
Eggies, cherzo, torteas and coffee for breakfast. Now thinking about lunch.
Daughter got rear ended in the Chrysler Town and Desert last night on way home from work. El cruncho on the rear lift gate. Hit by a Dodge 3500 ice truck. Think the reciever hitch on the back took a lot of the hit. Going to get an estimate today.

Time to grab on of Troopers coffee pucks to chew on and hit the road and do some rounds.

Looks like it might rain here, gonna put off on the mowing for a little bit. Went and ran some errands, got haircut, and changed the diff oils on my truck. Switched over to Amsoil synthetic, that all the local parts store had in stock at the time. In need of a shower, I smell like old gear oil, even after washing my hands off.

 

Late afternooner all, after snack time and before dinner.

Looks like Always drinks "soda, po, soda pop, or Coke." Not sure what they call in in OR.. If he ever gets some origninal Dr Pepper, from Dublin TX, or Coke from Mexaco he might kick the hi frutose corn syurpl. Real sugar taste better IMHO.
Time for me to make a pitcher of sweet iced tea.
Got a estimate on the el cruncho on the Chr town and desert, $2,300.00. Lift gate still works ok, looks like it will leak in the rain.
Got the valve stem notice from Discount tire for the truck and the Chr T&D. Set a appointment to have them checked and free replacment of the baddies.
Blue3/4. the gear oil smell goes away in a day or so. Get out and mow the lawn before the rain. If it is going to rain for sure that is when it is time to put the feed the weed stuff and grub killer on. Did that the other day before we got the tropical storm in. Grass growing good now.
Turtles, 5er adn Bob are out in the turtle spa basking in the sun.
5er how is the DW back doing with your care? Got a hot tub to soak in?

Almost time to pick up the rah rah rah kidlett. There is going to be a "BBQ" for familes there at 1800 hrs. It will prolly NOT be a BBQ, but grilled ratburgers and maybe cluckers.

That sounds like a really good way to spend the day! Sometimes I miss having kids around.

Lot of my wife’s side worked for Pabst and some at JD's. They were terrific drinkers. Free beer from PBR and discount booze from JD. Most of them arent around anymore.

Smelling like gear oil is a bad thing?? I dab a little oil on the neck everymorning. Now if I could only bottle up the smell of the truckstop in a spray bottle.

 

I prefer #2 low sulphur instead of gear oil. Gear oil smells like a bad fart to me lol.
