Good evening/morning DTR. busy last couple days for me. Got a welcome home party for a friend tomorrow, he's home from iraq. We went and got his SLP WS6 trans am out of storage today. Anyways the tea,coffee,sweet tea and ph00 are all on.

I'm tired...

 

I was thinking the same thing, so i took the initiative and did it. Seems like there has been a low turn out lately to the break room.

 

Grab some coffee, although it's not as good as the Janitors. Kick back and relax a bit.

 

Winter'll be here soon, can't take as many breaks, losing daylight.

Pretty darn tired myself. I had a 2 hour nap in today when my sister showed up. They had been up to Mackinac Island and are at the cabin for the night. Took them into town for dinner and cut back through the Manistee National Forest on the way back for a little sight seeing. Lots of baby bambi's, a coyote, a grouse is about it. Hoped to run across a bear. Found some huckleberry's to sample. Probably make some pancakes after work, then gonna sleep hard when they leave.

 

if i took anymore breaks, you'd think i worked for the state

coffee's good but who made it poor-able? i thought you were sapossed to make it so a puddy knife has to be used to get any?

coffe break? I need one; I just welded my Kubota's bucket back together after my "good neighbor" used it as a battering ram Working hard till 7 am!

At least he didnt use it as a poll vault like we had somebody do once!

 

It does seem like its been a weird summer for everybody but I guess its good that people get away from the computer more during the good weather. I had been having to entertain summer visitors and finally got back to (and read through all of) Madhat’s broken truck breakroom just in time for it to go into another week. I love taking a break here but wind up having to leave for months at a time due to (80+yo parents in CA) obligations. Been watching this site since 2003 (first fuel filter change). Luckily, nobody here seems to bear a grudge against us “newcomers” and those old-timers who have had a bad day. What a wonderful group of people!!!!.
In 1980 I used to belong to the Toronto Pet Users Group (TPUG). We connected at 300 baud. Even in TPUG there was the “weird” element. The admins at DTR seem to politely get rid of the rude and crude elements leaving just the strange (you guys) and the normal (me)! On a bad or a good day, it’s a great place to go!

Mornin... Boys, it's a bad morning... Chow starts promptly at 0600... but someone did not pass the word to the whole boat... it starts at 0700 this morning... half the dang boat is in here... and disgrunteled...


Ol bought a dog... I told here last night that it was ok, till I seen pictures of it. I ain't told her take it back... I don't think I'm going to... it is about the ugliest thing I've seen since I seen the janitor with his shirt off... !

Well... no food...
