Is it just me, or did it sound and kind of look like something broke right there at the end?

Indeed it does. I was going to ask the same question:
What broke?

What ever let lose didnt just snap. If you listen close enough, you can hear it start a second before it lets go.

Ford, GM, Dodge, doesnt matter, they all take money after something like that!

yeah, thats true. Of course, maybe it was the weight box hitting the end of the sled? I'd like to see the look on that guys face after he saw what happened. Am I the only one that hears a creepy laugh a few seconds before the end?

That was probably the driver in there peddlin' his heart out causing all that rattlin' and jumpin'. I remember my first Radio Flyer peddle truck!

Had to be something in the rear driveline. The truck stops dead but the front wheels keep spittin' dirt. Probably just a u-joint.

from the shudder up fron I would guess he broke the front driveshaft, if ya watch close it looks like the drivers side front tire takes a heckuva lurch caused by the shaft slamin the ground, wonder why they stopped the video there? maybe the next few frames revealed the hood blowin off showin what looked to be a moderately sized straight 6 cylinder engine, somethin like a 5.9 displacement. that would be the only reason for a driveline break..... more power than it was used to, or designed for!

That's a tiny sled. Not saying that it might not have had 40,000 on it... But no, it probably had about 4,000 on it... Never seen one that size before... Would you even want to hook up to that? I couldn't pull it either, it just wouldn't do much for your confidence...

In the post on TDS he had said he blew somthing in the nitrous system, man if a guy needs nitrous to pull that I guess he probably needs it to pull a RV too. You fellas have to go over there and read for a while it is funny, they talk of their High powered diesel units and all the guys running 400 + are eating rods and pistons not to mention what ever else.

Yea I heard the "laugh" too. BTW at the beginning of the video I hear like a pressure relief going off and then some steam or something from the front of the hood. What is that ?

Yup,

Powerstrokes literally have a "power stroke." when they are heavily bombed, dunno why they dont hold mods very well, perhaps that HEUI system is the problem.... Dont get me wrong, i love truck pulls, but at the end of the day you look its the rams that dominate it all....
