CNN just ran a spot about cars being set up in high crime areas to catch car thieves. The cars are controlled by a Lo-Jack system that allows the cops to control most everything in the car. When one of the PD's get ready to make the bust, they kill the engine, lock the doors, and the radio starts playing the theme song from COPS real loud. You should have seen the look on the faces of the bad guys when this happened! A real Kodak moment.

 

Worth every dime, isn't it? Talk about "no alibi" hehehe retired law enforcement (cop, prison guard, judge) and I just love the scams like that- stolen cars, pedophiles caught on camera in a sting. My favorite was the "you won" scam that had big screen tvs and all sorts of bling; and had outstanding warrant people come in to claim their "prize", best use of time and money ....
