Yes, there are plenty of channels, you can look here to see whats available for free and not free http://www.lyngsat.com/.

All of the DIYers and cheapskates here at DTR and nobody has FREE SATELLITE?
I'm just wondering if it is worth the cost and hassle. Do you get regular types of channels or is it all PBN, Govt. and NASA?
This would be great if it has decent channels.
