Flatulence

Shortround gave me an idea, and it's my Friday.

What are some of the worst you've been through?

In Germany, use to go up to the local monastary for beer and brats. Lots of saurkrout and cheese too. Coming back down the hill in my Ranger in the middle of winter, bed of truck full of G.I.'s wrapped in there sleeping bags, cab full of G.I.'s with windows down because the air was so bad. Use to get some interesting looks from the locals.

After a month of desert training in California, when I made it to the Px, all they had left was Vinegar chips and orange pop. I slept in the track alone that night.

Use to have to listen to the L.T. cry in the vehicle intercom while in the Gulf. 4 months of MRE's did wonders. I'd be in the driver hatch, and the sergent was over in the Commanders hatch and could still smell it over the Diesel. L.T. stuck below with no windows.

Hope I kept the language clean enuff, see how much this grows when I get back

Re:Flatulence

well this one time at band camp I took a flute and hit a kid in the head with it. Does that count ??? worse part was the flute was not mine I had to buy a new one :- ;D did I mention I was 14 at the time :

"I was not drunk. But I had had two or three and the chew I had in I guess covered it up"
see below ----v
One time after drinking at a party and eating a bunch of white castles we got stoped in a wal-mart parking lot. I was not driveing and the guy that was; was NOT drinking They told me to sit in the cop car as they searched the truck. It was not in my name they said. So there I sat waiteing for the cops to get done as my friend stood next to his truck me still in the car when the Beer and whiteys cought up with me. Needless to say the Cop that was in the car told me to stand next to my friend ;D True story swear They found nothing and we went home. After they were done they said no drungs in here lets find another car

Re:Flatulence

I probably have nothing that would compare with army food but.....

senior year of college 3 others and I decide we're going ice fishing in Michigan's U.P. for spring break. A whole week of beer, canned chili, vienna sausages, and fast food. The trip back in my friend's Toyota 4runner was quite the musical ensamble. He told me it took him 3 months to get the smell completely out.

Re:Flatulence

Two words... Tray Rats (rations) served in the field when you get a "hot" meal, they serve them instead of an MREs. The eggs and sausage definitely caused a "disturbance" I was able to clear the back of a five-ton with the sides jungle rolled, moving at about 30 mph. Made the driver stop so everyone could jump off. They made me sit by the tailgate after that one. ;D

Re:Flatulence

All night drunk downrange Korea with my CO, drinking beer and eating dried squid. WE got in at 2am and had a 330am rollout drill, the smell in the Hummer was so nasty that people outside of it could smell the death. 1sgt just shook his head at both of us. CO got tired of all the comments and we had a 7 mile mountain run when we got back just to sweat it out.

My dog is the worst. She has a nasty habit known as coprophagia. I watch her closely when she's outside, but she can be pretty quick. If she gets a ripe old one, a few hours later, watch out!

Re:Flatulence

Have not experienced anything like the aroma after being subjected to the "altitude chamber". Let 10 guys go up in that, and boy, was I glad to put the old O2 mask back on.
