Firefox problem

Quite often lately when I try and Access ANY site (even this one) I get a pop up window from fire fox that says :

Cannot Load dialog

Error 623 : the system cannot find the phone book entry for this connection.

Any ideas as to whats wrong? I have to click ok before it will resume loading the page I want.

are you on dialup? you may have to go into internet settings and make sure it is set to dial whenever a connection is not present...... , thankfully I am on broadband and don't have to worry about it, but I can imagine it being a huge pain.
