Mozilla firefox

I am at home for the holidays now , away from my computer , for a few weeks , i convinced dad to let me install firefox on his computer , because i know it is better than netscape , which he has now , but , since many ppl use this computer , we all have our own profile on netscape , is there any way to setup profiles as such with firefox?

Good luck with it. I downloaded it and I got exactly what I paid for - not much. I uninstalled it after 2 months and went back to IE. It's free for a reason.

IE is free too. Mozilla is better than IE most importantly because it keeps you + your data much more secure than IE.

I agree. I haven't had any issues with it and tabbed browsing is great. The popup blocker is the tops. Always works well for me.

I agree, I have used it for about 2 month now and is great. Not one single pop-up. Gotta love the tabbed browsing too. That's one of my more favorite features. Firefox doesn't have the security holes like IE.

It's also got some excellent extensions available. I'm running the Gmail notifier, the Bugmenot extension, and some others. Cool skins, too.

Alright , the help is great so far , took a few tries to get everything imported , and setup the way it was before , the only thing i am having trouble with is getting the home pages set as there were before? any advise on this?

When i installed firefox on my own PC , i had no trouble what so ever , everthing went perfectly.

I Love firefox , i have never used or liked IE , and well , netscape , i got tired of it causing system crashes , got firefox , and i love it.

So far not very happy with FireFox. It does not allow Postini to delete virus infected mail and when viewing a very long series of posts, it slows to a crawl or stops. IE and Netscape do not do this. I think that I will wait for a more mature version.

I am the Systems Admin for a pretty good sized college and we deployed our own custom version of Mozilla for everyone to use. It has worked wonderfully.

My Wife works in HR for a large autoparts company and they use Mozilla. They have excellent luck with it so we now use it at home and love it.

I like it ok, but with dialup, it's much slower to load pages then IE. I 've tried different setups, but it still loads slow.

I went back and downloaded the Macromedia Flash program in "options", and for whatever reason, it works faster. Does anyone know if there is a spell check program available for Firefox. iSpell doesn't work.

When I tried to download Firefox, something happened. Still haven't figured that one out. Computer locked up and would not load windows even in the 'safe' mode. I lost all pictures, files, and passwords. I had one HECK of a time rebuilding my system. I still don't have eveything back like it was.

From what I seen on the weather tonight, your PC may have frozen to death.
