Cool fire fox mini on a stick

i've been using firefox for a while. i found the portable firefox application. installed it on a memory stick. transfered my shortcuts from internet explorer and my other shortcuts from firefox. now i have all of my links and shortcuts on a stick. to be used on any compatable computer.
nice and handy.

ya ive been kinda sorta looking at that.....i have firefox on all my personal computers....i love the browser....just sometimes have compatiability issues with some sites, which is the only real reason i keep explorer .....thanks for the info ill prolly check this out as it seems i have some extra memory sticks around...

google portable apps. there are alot of applications that you can run from a memory stick. I keep a memory stick with ff, a password program, uTorrent, and others. handy at times.

I wonder if ya can do that with itunes and keep the sync to an ipod , synced to that memory stick..... sure beats having to use only one puter to load up the ipod.

I doubt Itunes would work since its supposed to manage the licenses for music and not allow you to share purchased music.

be worth the effort to try. currently i'm using a program to compress a game to put on a stick. so far it looks like it'll work. the game didn't require the cd in the drive to use it. that and installing a complete operating system and programs on anouther stick to use when repairing someones computer.

You can get some good linux OS for doing system restores that will fit on impossibly small flash drives. I have DSL running on a 128mb flash drive, it's not a restore tool, but they have some that are intended just for that purpose.

i just found a program that allows a standard memory stick to become a boot-able stick. now to decide on what o.s. to put on it....
