Mexstan if you can try to locate fiberglass septic tanks, I'll see if I can come up with a manufacers name and address tomorrow and post it for you. I've installed the fiberglass tanks and plastic laterals and using them sure makes the install go nice.

Re:Farming - Green thumb thread

I have found a few manufacturers on the internet but no dealers in Texas, which seems strange. I can have it shipped from either Indiana or Tennessee but that gets expensive. I know that Texas are full of 'it', ;D so there must be a dealer or two in Texas.
I want the ribbed kind that can be buried without worrying about the sides collapsing. Oddly enough, here in Mexico, septic tanks are available but they are not strong on surface area and go for the vertical kind and smooth sides. Consequently the builders when they install these tanks first build a concrete tank to install the plastic tank into. Wierd!

Re:Farming - Green thumb thread

Thanks for the offer but that does not help me at this point. Will do some more research tomorrow and see what I can come up with. Unless some helpful Texan has the answer I want.

Stan
Try to locate Hancor Plastic pipe company. They have a plant here in Tx. I think it is near Rosenberg but I may be wrong. They fab plastic corrugated piping like the type of tank you are describing. You might also look up Aerobic septic system suppliers. They should have the corrugated tank you are looking for.

Just my $.0s worth...Good Luck
