I spent four months working down in Texas and Louisiana last fall and I found the election very interesting. I am not going to open up a political can of worms, but all I will say is that there are a lot of closed minded people down there.

I cannot believe how many people refuse to watch Fahrenheit 911. I agree the film was very biased, and whether or not you agreed with what Michele Moore said, it forced you to think about some issues. I think everyone can learn something from watching a movie like that. With that said I also think people should watch Farienhype 911, do some additional research and then form some opinions of their own.

One thing I this movie showed me is how much power the tobacco industry has. After all of the tightened airport security that took place after 9/11. I was surprised to learn that I could take four packs of matches and two lighters on a plane!

Yeah, Michael Moore makes the occasional good quip, but he isn't much better than that, even if his books are quite funny. 9/11 wasn't even that funny though. Not even in a dry, European, not-funny way.

Moore is one of the worst idealists we have ever had down here. At least he isn't in power. We kind of enjoy keeping him over in a corner while he rants. I mean, we get to watch a fat guy get angry and jump up and down while trying to look intelligent and superior. Who wouldn't pay money for that?

He used to make some good points now and then. Now he is pretty basically on a personal mission to get Bush. He's becoming pathetic rather rapidly.

What blows me away is that people actually call it a "documentary".

It's more of a "mockumentary" political hack job...

Good thing Michael Moore wears a hat. Otherwise people might think that Jabba the Hut started a second career as a film maker.

I watched it and while I am a republican, I did find certain things about it interesting. It made me think about issues I hadn't thought about before. And now, with the being said, it was the most one sided movie I've ever seen in my life. One of my buddies is a democrat and he's like "they attacked the dem's also". Please. He said one bad thing and that's it.

Carl, what part of allstar wraslin (WWF) is fake and what part is real? (If you say some is real I'm jumping off a bridge.) To even speak of reality in the same breath and F 911 is idiotic.

You have to be a complete moron to even watch crap like that. You are just putting more money in the moron Moores pocket as he laughs all the wat to the back.

The good news is as long as the demos keep listening to left wing nut jobs like Moore the longer WE will be in charge. Hillary, Kennedy, Moore, are our best friends! The American people see right through them and voted Bush into office, twice.

Well....
I wont comment on right or wrong or even fact or fiction, but what just blows my mine is that many of the comments in this thread are "I havent seen it " Or " I wouldnt pay money to watch such trash" How can anyone make judgment on something you havent seen? Are you the same people that tell others how to hook up FP gauge and havent actually done it? Do you just recite stuff that you have heard others say? Can you not form a opinion for yourself? I hope the people on this site that can form oppinions solebased on others opinions and hearsay without first hand knowlege stay where you are because we dont need anymore idiots here in Canada. FWIW I thought it was a very poor movie and highly doubt theres little if any truth to what he speaks but anybody that dosnt believe that there can be that kind of corruption in politics really needs to be told what to think and what to say!

Do I need to see an abortion to know it kills a human being? Do I need to smell every (Pass gas) to know they all stink? Just because I have not seen a movie does not mean I have to see it before I decide. Do I have to see every **** movie before I decide I don't like ****? Do I ahve to be a heron addict to know it is bad for society? YOU really need to think for youre self.

Name one "fact" in this movie that you think proves MY government is corrupt.

Before you start calling me names cannuck you better look in your own house.

Socialised medicine just ain't what its cracked up to be eh?

Ok here my two cents, I believe it was a staged show, however it makes you really read the fine print in the newspaper as to how the elected officals are running our countries. The thing that hit me the worst was the tank guy singing his "burn baby burn" song with the swears etc while he shot down Iraqies, the killing is war but the mind set was scary, you wonder how this guy will adapt to civilian life, that not only states a bad thing but also groups the american military in a assumed mind set that probably isn't.

Unless you have been in battle don't judge others who have. Oh thats right, canada's military could not fight its way out of a paper bag with the weapons systems you have. Your government has wasted the money on all your unsucessfull social programs and left your military go to waste.

Good night canucks, sleep tight, the US has your back, front, top, and bottom.

Freedom ain't free. We pay the price while you judge MY soldiers. AMAZING!

This was all hashed out when the movie first came out.

We don't need to relive it.

Thus, the thread is closed.
