LIFT PUMP 911 ..need a hand
went to install new lift pump on my 95' 12valve today..got the new one almost in...but bolts won't thread into the block ...and so on and so freaking forth >

...if anyone is traveling through the north bay california tonight or tomorrow 6-8-03 and can help, i'd appreciate the extra hand...i need to hopefully get to work by monday AM..415-713-2908<br><br>unfortunatly, this had to turn out to be a 2-man job [undecided] :'(

Put a socket on your alternator pulley nut, and roll the engine until the cam lobe drops on the lift pump plunger. It will then slide right into place and the bolts will reach the threads.
