Cool factory service cd and internet explorer 9

I had trouble viewing the factory service manual cd on my new computer with windows 7(64) & IE 9. I called tech authority and was told that it wouldnt work above IE 7. this what i have discovered and i thought i would pass it along it might help someone else.

Using the 2007 dodge ram factory service manual CD in
“INTERNET EXPLORER 9.”
You must go to the tools menu in IE9.
Click on compatibility view settings.
then you must select display all websites in compatibility view.
When the cd opens click “run default.htm.”
are you sure to allow active X Answer yes
then select either “service information” or “wiring diagrams”
Couple items about the table of contents column
The PLUS ICON just means you have to click on it to get more contents that are available on the item. The plus icon does not display any information until a Page ICON is displayed. Clicking on the Page ICON gets information and pictures displayed

if you haven't downloaded from the cd the SVG viewer, it must be downloaded for one time only, on what ever computer you are using.

That is truly strange. It works fine on mine (same OS and stuff).

Because you need Adobe Reader to read the manuel (at least the 2003 one) you might want to go to http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...yFPDj34f5-IICg and download the latest reader.
Hope that helps you.
