Morning all.

FRIDAY, MAY 11th:

1858 - Minnesota was admitted as the 32nd U.S. state.

1889 - Major Joseph Washington Wham takes charge of $28,000 in gold and silver to pay troops at various points in the Arizona Territory. The money was stolen in a train robbery.

1910 - Glacier National Park in Montana was established.

1934 - A severe two-day dust storm stripped the topsoil from the great plains of the U.S. and created a "Dust Bowl." The storm was one of many.

1944 - A major offensive was launched by the allied forces in central Italy.

1947 - The creation of the tubeless tire was announced by the B.F. Goodrich Company.

1985 - More than 50 people died when a flash fire swept a soccer stadium in Bradford, England.

1995 - The Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty was extended indefinitely. The treaty limited the spread of nuclear material for military purposes.

1996 - An Atlanta-bound ValuJet DC-9 caught fire shortly after takeoff from Miami and crashed into the Florida Everglades. All 110 people on board were killed.

2001 - U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft announced his decision to approve a 30-day delay of the execution of convicted Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. McVeigh had been scheduled to be executed on May 16, 2001. The delay was because the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had failed to disclose thousands of documents to McVeigh's defense team.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Which is worse, failing or never trying? You're going to do both if you don't get outta bed and get at it!

Coffee's on.

Scotty, what do we gotta do to get that LEGG of yours to get with the program? Should we threaten it?

The LEGG is ok for the most part. Its stairs...going down them is where I lose stability...very strange feeling. It wants to buckle. I shattered the patella years ago when I snapped the LEGG. Ligaments, quad tendon and meniscus. Its just where its at after so many repairs. Considered more surgery...not going there unless it falls apart. Too much time lost with it already. The other noticeable downfall is I cannot load it up much...as in carrying anymore weight then my own carcass. For some reason, deep down, I feel that its as good as it will get for now. That could change but when I tried and load up to strengthen it with extensions...it shoots pain all thru the tendon that joins the lower and upper legg. That tendon was originally the quad tendon and patella tendon with the knee cap in the middle. Maybe its the Quadella tendon now.

Nobody knows why I keep getting these recurring ganglions of tendon and muscle popping thru the tendon either.

Morning all,
What a beautiful morning in the shadow of the Rockies. The next 5 days are all warm weather and sunshine. I have to go into the city for a few hours today for my neices' dance recital (they are 5 and 7 yrs old) then home to start mowing the lawn for the first time of the year. It is always a good day when faded denim meets John Deere green for the first time each year.
It has been super quiet in here lately. Is traffic to the whole site down or just the breakroom?

Wow, amazing. Where is everyone? Hope they are having more fun than I am. Way too much work and too little time. I am all sunburned and burned out from three long, hard days in the yard. I shouldn't have to be doing this at 39 yo. No way, Jose. Gotta slow down and smell the roses instead of work on them. Yard is slowly getting back the way it was about 2 years ago before the yard man let it go to pot. Should have fired him a long time ago.

OK, off to Home Depot for more mulch (56 down and need about 30 more), some PVC for pool pump work plus other goodies. Wifey is coming to keep me company and make me quite spending money. Guess I will take her out for lunch - - she deserves it - - purdy girl gal - - has to be to keep up with me, errrr, I mean put up with me.

Have a gudurn,

Bobby

Morning guys and gals. Forgot what it was like to have a young energetic cat around the house. I'm all tuckered out. Just a month ago she was half dead basket case. Now??? Wow!!!
I just hate people that abuse and mistreat animals.

Wow, the breakroom is so quiet today that I came in and found the lights were off. I turned on the lights and shrews went everywhere. Don't forget that tomorrow is Mother's Day. I just put new grounds in the coffee pot, I left the ph00 pot alone - that thing scares the bejeesus out of me. The fresh donuts with sprinkles are in the fridge for morning. Who the heck let the dinosaur head to the basement and then accidentally closed the door. That is one ticked dragon!!
Whichever admin drops by, lock the door on this quiet breakroom and open up a good one for the mothers in our midst.
